bridge the generations

The workshops promote family & community engagement through dance, music, & connection.

Five, 2-Hour Workshops

Students and their caregivers come together to learn dances like Merengue, Salsa, Disco Funk, and more

Schools can invite caregivers to participate in the full series or engage different grade levels in individual sessions, creating meaningful intergenerational experiences that strengthen relationships and build school community.

Two women and two children dancing outside on a paved area. One woman is wearing a Hello Kitty T-shirt and the other a colorful jacket. The children are dressed in school uniforms, one with rain boots. A man is sitting on a bench in the background.

Caregivers explore music & movement while building stronger relationships with one another & their school community.

Bridge the Generation workshops offer:

  • Arts-Driven Engagement: Caregivers connect through dance and music experiences.

  • Social Emotional Learning (SEL): Builds empathy, collaboration, and joy across generations.

  • Community-Responsive Design: We work with schools to reflect and uplift the unique needs of each school community. The workshop can be offered to the entire school or specific grade levels.

  • Strengthening Partnerships: A dynamic, welcoming way to encourage caregivers to become active participants in school life.
